When we first dreamed of starting Be Weird, it wasn’t because we wanted to launch just another skincare brand. It came from something much deeper — our desire to create a space where people feel free to embrace who they are, with all their quirks, textures, moods... and even those “off” days.
For years, we struggled with our own skin — dryness, irritation, hormonal breakouts... you name it. But what bothered us even more was how beauty was portrayed everywhere. Perfection was the standard. Flaws were hidden. Individuality was pushed aside. We kept asking ourselves, why can’t skincare be a way to celebrate our unique selves instead of masking them? That question is what led to the birth of Be Weird.
Starting this brand wasn’t easy. We had countless sleepless nights debating formulations, testing textures, and designing packaging that felt playful but trustworthy. We didn’t want to just sell lotions and creams — we wanted to tell a story. A story about confidence, mental health, self-care, and most importantly, acceptance.
When we sat together to define our voice, one phrase kept coming up — Be Weird. It perfectly captured what we stand for. Weird isn’t a flaw; it’s what makes you stand out. It’s the messy hair after a long day, the dry patches from winter, the redness from stress, and even those moments when you just want to hide from the world. We wanted every product to remind you that skin issues don’t define your beauty — self-love does.
Every ingredient, every label, every campaign we create is rooted in that belief. We use gentle, nourishing ingredients that care for sensitive skin while helping it glow naturally. Our formulas are simple, honest, and safe — because we wouldn’t put anything on your skin that we wouldn’t use ourselves.
What keeps us going is you. Every message from someone saying, “Thank you for making me feel seen,” or “I finally feel confident in my own skin,” reminds us why we started this journey.
Be Weird isn’t just skincare. It’s a movement. A movement that invites you to laugh at your imperfections, love yourself as you are, and wear your weirdness like a badge of honor. So, here’s to every person who’s ever felt like they don’t fit the mold — you are exactly how you’re supposed to be. Take care of your skin, and more importantly, take care of yourself.
Ready to embrace your weirdness? Let’s glow together.
With love,
